Purple Star Rise 26-27

Purple Star Rise is a 5-module course that walks participants through all aspects of the Purple Star Campus Designation (PSCD) and unique elements of supporting military connected students. Ten unique tools and resources to support Texas schools with implementation of PSCD are implemented throughout the course. Purple Star Rise includes rich content and check for understanding opportunities to gauge learning and comprehension of key concepts. The course can be taken in one setting or broken out into individual sections and sub-sections and is adaptable to the learner’s needs. The course is free and is available to all learners within and outside of the state of Texas. Participants who complete the course will receive a certificate and three (3) continuing professional education credits (CPEs). The following contents are included: Introduction; Module 1: Purple Campus Designation; Module 2: Campus-Based Military Liaisons; Module 3: Webpage for Military Family; Module 4: Campus Transition Program; Module 5: Military Initiatives; and Course Conclusion.
